A UNESCO World heritage since 1982, La Habana Vieja is an exceptionel walk through time and you heart sink everytimes you see a building worth of restauring, so much work has been done and so much is left to be done. But it is also the place where you will feel the most like a tourist, forced to buy something of bad quality as excessive prices or "gang pressed" on visiting and spending yours dollars at La Bodeguita del Medio, to be seen of course but to be avoided as customer at any cost. Enjoye, rather a "promenade" through old streets and plazzas.
